The company moved its 140 employees, and its headquarters, from Wheaton to a 155,000 square feet space in the Yorkville Business Center in 1997. The Kendall Pub will forever be known as the first redevelopment in series significant projects in Yorkville’s downtown redevelopment plan. This redevelopment is a complete transformation of the space by essentially striping the inside of the building and custom building the interior. The upscale pub includes an impressive 42 foot mahogany bar, and imported alabaster chandeliers which adds to its ambiance. Since its opening in August of 2005 patrons have stopped into this establishment to enjoy hefty burgers, homemade pizza, and more than 100 brands of beer, with 22 brands on tap.
