More than 500 homes sold in Lakewood Springs, Plano

Affordable prices and a well-designed community have been drawing buyers to Lakewood Springs, a master-planned community with 1,860 single-family and village homes set on 600 acres in Plano.

Since the community opened for pre-construction sales in fall 2003, more than 500 homes have been sold to date, said Christopher Shaxted, executive vice president of Lakewood Homes.

"The numbers speak for themselves," Shaxted said. "Buyers are impressed with the value, location and family-oriented community offered at Lakewood Springs."

The community recently opened 15 professionally decorated model homes at the community.

The Village Homes include a ranch and three two-story plans, priced from $115,990 to $147,990. These attached designs include two to three bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, family rooms, eat-in kitchens and 924 to 1,823 square feet of living space.

"The price range makes the Village Homes ideal for the first-time homebuyer looking to get out of a lease and start building equity in a new home," Shaxted said.

The Classics Homes offer seven floor plans with two to four bedrooms, one to 2 ½ baths, formal living and dining rooms, family room, 1004 to 1,716 square feet of living space and attached two-car garages. The Classics series is priced from $129,990 to $176,990.

The Executive Series of single-family homes, priced from $187,990 to $212,990, include four or five bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, formal living and dining rooms, family rooms, dens and heart rooms per plan attached two-car garages and 2,009 to 2,713 square feet of living space.

The Heritage Series includes four luxury homes priced from $227,990 to $256,990.
